WSC Xmas wishes and Mask Update

Published Thu 23 Dec 2021

Dear Members,

I would like to wish every one of you and your family members a safe, healthy and happy festive season and a prosperous New Year for 2022. If you are travelling away for the holidays, please take care on the roads and enjoy your time away.

This challenging Covid experience is not going away in a hurry and I encourage all of you to stay safe and look after yourselves, and when visiting the Club remember to check in with the QR code system.

As many of you are already aware, the Victorian Government re-introduced mask wearing indoors from midnight tonight, 23rd December until January 12th. Masks must be worn by anyone over 8 years of age. If you are visiting the Club for any type of activity or social gathering you must wear masks anywhere indoors, including the upstairs indoor space. You do not have to wear masks on the lower deck / rigging area or on the upstairs deck.

For any of our sailing members who are travelling to compete in their National titles- we wish you well and look forward to hearing of your successes.

The festive season is a great time to make use of the Club with your family and friends- whether it is enjoying take-away or a BBQ on the upper deck, paddling a kayak or even swimming off the jetty on a hot day- please come and enjoy our great location. Just remember to follow Covid safe practices, check in using the QR code and leave things clean and tidy..

Season Greetings to all
