Our Easter holiday training courses are coming up! This holiday we’re running 2 courses:
• Tackers 1 - Mon 11th - Thu 14th April, 9am-2pm each day
• Get Moving in a Minnow / Mirror - Tue 19th - Thu 21st April, 9am-4pm each day
Tackers 1 is all about building confidence on the water for those just starting out. The kids sail in pairs, in club boats (Optis) and learn the basics of sailing through fun games on and off the water. It’s a great way to meet new friends and sail in a group.
Get Moving in a Minnow / Mirror provides an opportunity for junior sailors to further develop their confidence and sailing and racing skills in their own boat - previously we’ve run this for Minnows (single handed boats), and this time we’re extending to Mirrors (double handed boats). This is great for those who have moved into Minnows or Mirrors and want to build their skills and for Tackers 2 graduates looking to transition into their own boats.
If you want to do Get Moving but don’t own a boat there are often boats available to hire or borrow.
