Commodore Announcement - Club Closed 12 Feb
Dear Member,
- Club is closed until further notice.
- All sailing and fishing activities are cancelled.
- No one can enter the Club.
Following the announcement of the Victorian Government at today, it is with regret that as of 11.59pm tonight (12 Feb) the Club will be completely Closed until further notice. The Government has announced that the State is entering Stage 4 restrictions for five days as of 11.50pm tonight until midnight on Wednesday 17th Feb.
It is understood from the announcement that during this period, we cannot leave home from 11.50pm tonight, except:
- Essential Shopping
- Health appointments or care giving
- Essential Work
- Exercise for 2 hrs per day
- We need to stay within 5kms of our home
- Mask wearing is mandatory outdoors at all times.
- No private or public gatherings.
Please refer to the Government website for all up-to-date information.
We hope that we can reopen after Wednesday but is dependent upon the State Government.
