Following the Victorian Government announcement today, a range of restrictions will ease across Victoria tonight at 11.59pm, with travel now unrestricted within Victoria.
We are pleased to inform you that the Club is allowed to be reopened to all members based on the restrictions below. Under the restrictions, outdoor recreational boating, sailing and kayaking is now permissible provided:
- Everyone must sign in on entry, using the Government’s QR code app.
- Face masks must be worn at all times both indoors and outdoors, unless undertaking strenuous exercise.
- Maintain 1.5m distancing inside and outside.
- Maintain good hand hygiene by regular hand washing/sanitising.
- Comply with room and area limits (as posted) based on the Density quotient of 1 person per 4 sqm.
Sport and Recreation:
- Club rooms and change rooms can be open, density limits apply.
- Group limit of 10 people, max 100 in the building.
- Consider options to minimise gatherings of people e.g video or written briefings by posting a link on an app instead of gathering people together.
- Equipment must be cleaned between uses.
The Club’s COVIDSafe Plan will be amended and can be found on the Website.
