This year’s annual inter club snapper fishing competition with Albert Park Yachting and Angling Club was held on the 30th of October. Eleven of our keenest anglers headed out in the early morning in very calm conditions. Unfortunately, this year none of our members were able to take out any prizes.

Well done to Jess Wittmann, Con Bourakis, Tony Chowaniec and James D’Aquino from WSC on being the only ones to catch snapper/ pinkies that were able to be weighed in, although not good enough to win prizes.! Congratulations to Albert Park anglers on taking out all the prizes with heaviest fish weighing in at 6.6, heaviest bag over 8kgs.
The day concluded on the deck at APYAC with a presentation and barbecue. We all swapped stories about the fish we caught and the ones that got away!
