The ever-popular Adult-in-Optis competition that in prior years has been held on the Regatta weekend is now expanded into a much bigger knock-out event, including juniors.  Several heats will be run, with the top sailors from each heat advancing to a grand final race to determine the overall winner.  This is true one-design racing, where skill triumphs over equipment 🙂 All Club members are encouraged to take part, and since starts will be run from the jetty there will be plenty of fun for spectators as well.  Can Grace Becker-Scott retain her title, or will there be a new champion?

• Manual registrations open at 11am - help to get Optis rigged would be appreciated

• Competitor briefing at 12.30pm (including announcement of course and participants in each heat)

• First warning signal at 1.00pm

• Aim to finish racing by 3pm to allow time for pack-up and changing
