Racing at WSC is governed by the terms and conditions in the associated Notice of Race (NOR) and Sailing Instructions (SI); these will be made available on the WSC website and may be updated during the course of the Series. Sailors will be notified in advance by email of any changes made and these will also be recorded on the WSC website.

Race briefing is at 5.00pm (Attendance at the pre-race briefing is highly recommended for all skippers and/or their crew, as it is at this meeting that the course will be announed and any special safety issues will be raised) and the race starts at 5:30 pm. There will be a single race on the Williamstown side of the shipping channel (number of laps & course will be dependent on wind direction and strength) and boats will be off the water by 6.30pm. After racing the bar will be open from 6:30 pm, and there will be a BBQ or a collective takeaway delivery at 7:00 pm.

Entry into any series is automatic upon first sign-on for a race within that series. However, all skippers need to ensure that they have uploaded a Safety Declaration and Insurance Certificate for the boat that they are sailing in the series, even if they are not the owner of the boat. 

1. Friday night series

• The all-fleet winner of the series will be determined based on yardstick
• Separate winners may be determined for classes or divisions
