An 8 race series on Friday nights from 5pm First Race30 January 2026 Last Race 27 March 2026 (no racing Friday 06 March 2026 (Labour Day weekend)
Hobsons Bay Yacht Club (HBYC), in conjunction with Royal Yacht Club of Victoria (RYCV) and Williamstown Sailing Club (WSC) invite all juniors, novices, teens and those in their 20’s to join our Friday night series for some fun sailing. The Friday Night Series Racing is governed by the terms and conditions in the associated Notice of Race (NOR) and Sailing Instructions (SI); these will be made available on the WSC Notice Board and in the links below.
Race briefing is at 5.00 pm (Attendance at the pre-race briefing is mandatory for all skippers and/or their crew and WSC members attending by attend by a radio/phone hook up). The race starts at 5:30 pm. There will be a single race on the Williamstown side of the shipping channel (number of laps & course will be dependent on wind direction and strength) and boats will be off the water by 6.30pm. Free entry!
